"Greek Customs and Holidays" is the first book of a series titled "Greek Civilization and Culture".

This series is targeted towards Greek children, but also towards children who are learning Greek as a foreign language. Additionally, there will be future foreign language editions (in English, French and other languages) for children worldwide who want to learn about greek civilization in its modern form through the prism of traditions, customs, myths, history and art.

The book "Greek Customs and Holidays" utilizes simple texts, original and humorous illustrations by Thanasis Dimou, songs sung by Lilly Iakovidou, who also wrote the music and a variety of other activities. The format of the book involves a group of children who invite the reader to participate with them as they follow the calendar of an entire school year.
